!, 1 pm Sunday Today the Canadian team plays Georgia. Since the pairings are a little bit delayed (this is the beginning of the Olympiad after all) we suspect that they will play their best. Last time Canada was even better at one point of the match-but we lost. Our team will be Alex, Kevin, Igor and Jack. Our meal last night was a horror story: some watery mashed potatoes, on which was placed a few bits of greasy meat, covered by a brownish type of sauce. Lunch today was much better: more solid! Rice, some chicken covered with some type of 'french-ish cheesy-potato,blobi (for lack of a better word)'. A lot of chewing this time! At least we didn't have to chew very much! Everyone is in great shape. Motivated! Today is Independence Day in Istanbul. Many stores are closed. The weather is sort of sunny, though it may rain before too long. Cool also. Kevin Kevin
